Visual Studio Alternatives

Ok, Thx.
I did read the Mono stuff before, it was the closest hit when googling for a
solution.

But I'ts not "compatible" with the course.
It's first grade, so we learn about the visul studio interface and stuff....

I guess, I'll take the bullet and use the Virtual stuff.

I'd like to thank the list for a nice reply.
