FC6 Network resources

I am confused...when I open the Network server in resources I see my Network.
I have the following icons:

user's public files on each computer
each computer icon
SFTP for each computer

If I click on public files icon or SFTP icon nothin happens.
I can surf the other computer by computer icons..
Where is the trick???
