Unwanted suspend and hibernate buttons in KDE

I can not see myself using it very often on my workstation, because
I don't shut it down at night. But being able to hibernate can be
useful when you need to do a quick shutdown to change a keyboard,
PS/2 mouse, or parallel printer cable. (9 times out of 10, you can
get away with changing one without shutting the system down, but it
is a risk.) It is also handy if you have to change out a UPS.
Putting the system in hibernation, and waking it back up tends to be
a bit faster then doing a shutdown and restart, especially if  you
have a lot of programs running.

I leave it to someone that uses it to give reasons for suspend on a
workstation. I can see a couple, but I can not make a good argument
for them...
