I had this after an update, and resolved it so long ago that I don't
recall the solution, other than it was installing another RPM that
hadn't been pulled in as a dependency (perhaps faac-1.25-2.lvn6 or
faad2-2.0-19.20050131.lvn6).
# rpm -qa \*faa\*
faad2-2.0-19.20050131.lvn6
faac-1.25-2.lvn6
I did find an answer on the web somewhere, here's one comment about it:
"To those getting "undefined symbol: faacDecOpen": do you have
libfaad2-0 installed? If not, try to install it. Some googling suggests
that this could be the problem... HTH."
