This means your system think it is running i586 and doesn't like the
module being i686.

Try
rpm -q --qf '%{name}-%{version}-%{release}.%{arch}\n' -f /boot/vmlinu*
and you will most probably see that you have i586 kernels installed.
If that's the case check out
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Bugs/FC6Common?highlight=%28fc6%29#head-e0676100ebd965b92fbaa7111097983a3822f143
after you fix the kernel to really become i686 you will find your USB
camera working :)
