Fedora spins are not going to single CD's. They are each likely to span 
3 CD's or so depending on what packages we put in the media on these 
spins. We have been discussing having a complete set of packages in a 
set of DVD's but mirror space is a potential issue. We might be make 
them available via bittorrent only or only in some mirrors.

Where did you see that schedule? 
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Core/Schedule says that today is the 
development freeze which is going along as planned.
