samba, why can't users delete/rename files

Hi,

I set up a samba server and although users can read and write to the shares, 
they can not rename or delete files.

I probably miss something but after a long search I can't figure out what.

On my other samba server this works fine, the difference I find is that the 
one I'm having an issue with is using shares on a RAID1 configuration.

Anyone have a hint to what the issue could be ?
