Skype problem

Hello everyone,
                I am using fedora 7 with the GNOME desktop and kernel
2.6.21-1.3228.fc7.While using Skype for calling the call just cuts out in
the middle after sometime and then I need to restart my computer to continue
using Skype.I use the Skype 1.4 beta version.What can I do to repair this
problem?
