get rid of files and directories with spaces in them

I don't know what the original poster's environment is, but it's a dicey
thing to do wildcard deletions, hoping that something else will save you
from yourself.

Using FC 4, 5, 6 & 7, plus CentOS 5.  Today, it's FC7.
