Yes but it could be a bumpy road depending on what programs you have 
installed and if you use labels vs. device entries.

To kick off the process you need to download the fedora-release and 
fedora-release-notes packages which will change the entries in your 
repos and set them up for Fedora 7. You may have to disable 
fedora-extras manually since F7 no longer separates the repos.

So it is possible using yum but not a simple yum -y update away.
