Fedora 7 disk issues?

I've been getting these errors in my /var/log/messages file:

The harddisk is a Seagate SATA (ST3400620AS), motherboard is an Intel 
DG965RY.  I am using a Pentium D processor but I have the i386 distro 
installed.  I did not have this problem with FC6 using x64_86 distro.

suggestions?
