cd writer missing after F7 upgrade

It is a Lite-on 52x  IDE cd burner.

I don't know.  I booted the install disk on it when I did the upgrade to Fedora
7 and that worked fine.

It worked fine with FC6 using the default "enabled" setting, so it
obviously can be made to work with Linux.
