F7: Probing of external USB DVD fails during boot

Having an extern USB DVD (Lite-On).

During boot, I get error messages concerning this devices, and after 
boot if have to re-plug it, otherwise it is not recognised:

lsusb

Bus 003 Device 010: ID 0ecd:a100 Lite-On IT Corp.

THe boot message is the following:

Initializing USB Mass Storage driver...
usb 3-1: USB disconnect, address 2
usb-storage: probe of 3-1:1.0 failed with error -71

usb 3-1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 8
usb 3-1: device not accepting address 8, error -71
usb 3-1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 9
usb 3-1: device not accepting address 9, error -71

After re-plugging the deviced, it can be normally used.

I had no such behaviour in FC6!!

Did somebody have similar experiences?
