F7: Desktop Effects bug with nVidia GPU

... I have similar problems with the beta driver 100.14.06 as follows:

using compiz works perfectly file, but if I switch the desktop effects
the whole machine is locked.

If I try to switch beryl on I just see the windows to transparent
decoration. And if I try to log out, the whole machine is also
locked ...
