Nice starting point.

How about putting up/adding a link for parameters to address booting
problems?  For example:

linux text
        askmethod
        acpi=off
        maxcpu=1
        noapic
        nolapic
        dodmraid
        nodmraid
        ide=nodma
        fb=no
        vga=769       # 256 color 640x480
             =771       #               800x600
             =773       #               1024x768
