Is nspluginwrapper a solution for Flash?

I've been trying to figure out if it is wise to install this utility.
I've read about it on this list and saw the discussion at bugzilla:

I don't want to be updating i386 packages on my PC. Besides, the PC
"stumbles" a bit with those... Is there any other alternative?
