Why is LD_LIBRARY_PATH unset in FC6 and not in FC5

Hi

Thanks for the tips.

My problem is actual that I can't build perl-5.8.8-r10 together with Open 
Embedded.
They build perl localy in a dedicated directory and use LD_LIBRARY_PATH for 
indicating
where perl's main lib is located.
