They are.  

`modprobe ecryptfs' worked fine once I lost the "n".

Reading through this (or part of it :-) made an impression on me.  I
have liked fedora since I came on board (thanks Anne :-), but I now
have a new-found respect for the careful process of review that
packages go through.

Out of curiosity (and Off Topic), what mechanism is used to check if a
malevolent author sneeks a security hole into their package?  Is there
an independent review of all the source code?

Thanks Charles.  Since a working laptop is crucial on this trip, I'm a
little leery to be the first on my block to try it.  On the other hand
the consequences of the laptop being stolen would be very bad.  That
and the (lack of) free time I have to make this work makes me nervous.

I'll certainly let the list know how it goes.
