N00bie questions about encrypted file systems.

I understand your concerns.  Heck, there are even questions about not 
using encrypted partitions within civilized countries with new snooping 
reports all the time.

I am looking at encrypted partitions on my new file server at home.  The 
laptop will be encrypted when I install F7.

You can also look at trucypt.  There is a good article on their site 
about problems with encryption.  In some countries, there are laws that 
require you to give up passwords for encrypted data so you may want to 
look at multiple encryption techniques.

The above article does not look at swap or /tmp.  These should be 
encrypted as well.
