If I can't remove it (it seems connected to SELinux in some way) why
won't the following work ?
         [bill at CASE ~]$rsync -auH --del --filter=-/home/bill/.dbus
        -n /home/bill/ /backup/bill/
        invalid modifier sequence at 'h' in filter rule:
        -/home/bill/.dbus
        rsync error: syntax or usage error (code 1) at exclude.c(777)
        [client=2.6.9]
