Package managers gone haywire! yum, apt, rpm: pam is totally borked

Smart outputs a temporary name resolution error for anything that has
to do with download.fedora.redhat.com. Is that what you are observing?
If that is the case I'm assuming that the server is down and would
recommend using a mirror.
