cd writer missing after F7 upgrade

You could try putting this in your fstab, changing the hdc to the
actual location of your device and adding the cdrw
directory in media.  Then mount /dev/hdc and umount /dev/hdc.

/dev/hdc /media/cdrw iso9660 users,noauto,ro,exec 0 0


Not a fix, a workaround.
