fedora 7 - pppd rp_pppoe problem

hi,

i made a fresh install of fedora 7.
in system - amministration - network , i insert eth0 (realtek ethernet) 
and a xdsl connection)
i have problem with xdsl connection. (with fedora from 3 to 6 i never 
had problems)
at the moment i can see my modem on : 192.168.1.1
but when i i try to active the xdsl connection i have this messages:

/usr/sbin/adsl-start: line 215: 3994 Terminated

and in var log messages:
