Compiling the F-7 kernel

Has anyone managed to compile the 2.6.21-1.3194.fc7-i686 kernel?
I downloaded it with
        sudo yumdownloader --source kernel-2.6.21-1.3194.fc7
but when I tried to compile it with "make",
there was an error: init/main.c was not found.

Did I misunderstand how one is meant to download or compile this kernel?
