The yum versions are not the latest and they do not seem to accept
the imported data from my FC4 system as well as the version 2 are doing.

I did run F7 for several days and the only alsa sound Mixer I could
find was one running in a terminal. Hard to use.

Well I can't be sure this bug has not been reported 45 times. Right
now I'm compiling the FFTW libraries from a tar ball and just looked. It
did compile on FC6!
