Where are the Fedora 7 CD ISOs

Being on an IDE PCI card doesn't necessarily prevent the connected 
device from booting, but perhaps there is some other problem too...
I haven't actually tried this, but I'd guess that if you burn the 
boot.iso image to a CD and boot from it, it would let you pick the DVD 
as the install source.

If you have another machine that can export an NFS share, download the 
dvd image to a directory there, boot the boot iso on the target machine, 
give it the NFS info and install from there.  If you have an external 
usb drive big enough to hold the dvd image, that should work too.
