FC6 fonts problem

Hi

I've added a font (tempistc.ttf) to /usr/share/X11/fonts/TTF, which is
in chkfontpath listing. After that I've ran ttmkfdir, mkfontdir and
after that restarted xfs. All that was looking ok, but then, xfontsel
lists the fonts (the one I added also) but I don't see any samples in
the lower part of xfontsel's window. Additionally the font isn't visible
in Gimp, Inkscape or OOWriter :(

Any suggestions on what's wrong?
