How to add /sbin to useable paths on FC5

Well I fixed it temporarily by creating a softlink pointing 
from /usr/local/bin/ldconfig to /sbin/ldconfig.  I've now added /sbin to 
~/.bash_profile. Now all I have to do is find out how to use Aldrin, the app 
that needed this library installed.
