Kernel 2.6.19-1.2911.6.4.fc6 No Sound

Same case here  
Acer aspire 5040

the sound card seams to be:
ATI technologies inc SB450 (realtek intel based ALC883)
kernel-devel-2.6.19-1.2911.6.5.fc6
kernel-2.6.19-1.2911.6.5.fc6

alsa.org solution does not work.
on fedora 7 test 2 livcd the problem has not been solved.

it was working perfectly on fresh install
and about the bug report i would do it if i kmow how to do it and
wath info they nead.
