[FC6] Vmware Server fails vmmon module compile, kernel 2.6.20-1.2925.fc6

Hi PJones,

try this (as root):

cd /usr/lib/vmware/modules/source/
cp vmmon.tar vmmon.tar_orig
tar xvf vmmon.tar
vi vmmon-only/include/compat_kernel.h

search for "_syscall1" and modify as follows:

#if LINUX_VERSION_CODE < KERNEL_VERSION(2,6,19)
static inline _syscall1(int, compat_exit, int, exit_code);
#endif

rm -f vmmon.tar
tar cvf vmmon.tar vmmon-only

Run vmware-config.pl
