Not sure how, but it looks like the swap partition is not of type 82 any
more. the section of my fdisk -l is:
/dev/sda7 3201 3264 514048+ 82 Linux swap / Solaris
the Solaris belongs on the previous line however

I'd either fire up fdisk and make the #5 partition type 82 or make a
swap file. Yeah I think that might cause some slowness in your boot
especially if you have 256 or less memory.
