Fedora and the "normal" user

But even on Windows, you can turn off this ugly html email, I think.

I don't have a staff... but even if I did, I'd hate to enforce the
usage of _anything_.

I don't use either, but I think KDE looks and feels more Windows-y.

That's my feeling, too.

I'd let her, but not recommend it to her, unless I'd be sure to have
enough time to administer it for her, too. Installation is just the
first step. Especially with Fedora, which you have to upgrade
regularly. (In this respect, CentOS is probably a better choice.)

I love Linux, and I'm quite happy with Fedora, but I'd recommend a Mac
to my mom.
