Fedora core 6 and widescreen monitors?

Yes, like I said, it was the first time this happened.  With FC5/4 I  
always had to enter the resolution and the monitor type.

I've a Viewsonic LCD, btw.    I remember being surprised because I  
didn't have to redo the monitor settings once I installed FC6.  Heh.
