Software for analog video capturing

I have a video capture card based on the bt878 chip (bttv driver). I can 
connect the device to the computer using s-video directly and I can even 
watch the video tapes using some TV viewing softwares, but I haven't found 
one that allows me to record the video. Do you know one?
