Liberation-fonts in Fedora Core (FC5)

Hi all,


I wonder, would the liberation fonts from RedHat (*) fit my Fedora
Core 5 system if I install them from the .rpm or the tarball? If
the .rpm isn't recommended, is there a good practice to install such TTF
fonts manually?
