What I usually do is give them to my neighbor. She make these
interesting outdoor decorations out of them. The data side of a
CD/DVD gives off nice reflections. I figure this is much better then
using them for targets - that leaves sharp pieces of plastic all
over the place.

I would get rid of Windows all together, except for a couple of
pieces of hardware and software that are not yet supported by Linux.
Now, if Linux or Wine would talk to my eBookwise book reader... Then
all I would have to worry about is my sister's Windows 98 machine
that talks to her "Magic Box" card reader/writer for her embroidery
machine.
