smoltSendProfile doesn't for F7 right now!

It seems that in fact this is not the origin of the problem... I ran wireshark
to see what was going on, and it turns out that trying to send the smolt profile
makes a call out from port 53291 and expects an answer on that port coming back.
I think that this must be where the problem is because port 53291 inbound will
almost certainly be blocked by our institution firewall.
