Where Can I Find ...?

I want to install Eclipse, Sun Java, Tomcat, JBoss on the Fedora Core 6
x86-64 box.  I've create specific file systems for those applications so I
cannot use the RPM (this started way back before those applications had
RPMs built for them).

Does anyone know of any documentation, best-practices, or howto to best
accomplish this?  Specifically Eclipse?
