f7/f8 and dpms

Bonjour,

I recently installed f7 on a desktop with ATI (Radeon X1300/X1550
Series) video card and f8 on a laptop with nvidia video card (GeForce Go
6600).

On both computer I run the driver fglrx (ATI) and nvidia from livna.

On both computer dpms is enabled in xorg.conf

On both computer the backlight never switches off...

I wonder why. It use to switch off under fc4.
