Boot hangs at UDEV

Hi Roger...

Various people reported something similar when installing onto a Dell Optiplex 320 desktop. Does the laptop have sata drives?

The reason you get the rescue-cd to load/install, is that the entire OS is on the cd. I'm assuming that you managed to actually go through, and install F8 on the laptop, but that you now cannot boot the laptop without it hanging on the UDEV step...
