I got a bit peeved when I had to rewrite some scripts that I used for
downloading via crontabs. I now use lynx when I need to generate a list
of URNs and wget for that. However, lftp is a fine client, and does
pretty much all I need.
OTOH I first used pine on OS/2 and still do, though not for everything.
It's especially good as the final spam filter:-)

One can only have so much fun! My latest toy is YAC on which I run F8
and plan on running virtual machines.

I might dig out a Warp Connect CD and see whether it runs. A mate still
uses OS/2. Just as a server, hiding behind Trustix.
