I have too many of these around here to resort to 'fiddling or
twiddling' buttons on flat panel displays.

I don't mind pushing through a new xorg.conf file to each system if
that's what I have to do.

perhaps - I am quite certain though, that this washed out, straggly
display isn't what Fedora has in mind...that's why I grabbed the
snapshot. It was when I saw how good the snapshot looked on my desktop
system, that I realized that it's a display issue regression going on
here.
