I have a USB drive I leave plugged in, but I only want it used by my nightly cron script for backups (the script mounts it, does the backup, then unmounts it). How do I wall this drive off from HAL or whoever it is that keeps on "conveniently" mounting it for me in /media under Fedora 8?
