Thunderbird Profiles

Does Fedora 8 support the thunderbird profiles?

Under a terminal windows I put thunderbird -ProfileManager and nothing 
happens, thunderbird profiles do not open.

I copy my old thunderbird folder (under Ubuntu 7.10) which has 3 
different profiles. When I execute thunderbird it do not open.

If I modify my profiles.ini file and left only one profile then it works 
fine.

Where is the problem?
