VMWare on Fedora 8

I am not sure about the workstation, but the server 1.0.4 with the any
any 114 update fails with the following:

vmware: xcb_xlib.c:50: xcb_xlib_unlock: Assertion `c->xlib.lock' failed.

With some googling I have decided that it has something to do the safe
threads and libX11, but he bugzilla 254144
does not fix the issue.

I am continuing to try and get vmware to run.
