One thing to keep in mind with any type of backup media is storage
conditions. Another is how long you plan on storing the information.
You may want to search out the long term affects of fluctuating
magnetic fields and cosmic rays on long term data integrity. I have
not kept up on it, but there used to be concerns about bit changes
due to cosmic ray impact when used for long term storage. But every
backup media has advantages/disadvantages.
