Fedora 8, mplayer, radeon 9250, and "fullscreen" mode

Er.. did I miss some messages? How did you determine that running xrandr to be the cause of the problem?

Just updated to xorg-x11-drv-ati - 6.7.196-1.fc8.i386 but no luck.
