Same here.  /var/cache/yum/updates/comps-f8.xml keeps getting larger
then shrinks and grows again.  If I replace the mirrorlist with
a single baseurl, I get:

failure: repodata/comps-f8.xml from updates: [Errno 256] No more mirrors 
to try.
