fc8 media checksums

hi, how can i check FC8 iso images to check correct process download process. i have downloaded Fedora-8-Live-i686.iso and Fedora-8-i386-DVD.iso, then burn Fedora-8-Live-i686.iso and when i boot i/o error is shown.
