How do I remove i386 from x75-64 systems?

I expect yum to either refuse to do it, if my proposed removal causes
dependancy problems, or resolve dependencies and offer to remove the lot.
There was no complaint.
I think Frank has the answer, but that's the behaviour I would expect by
default.
